The converter uses the official National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) exchange rate to convert an amount from one currency to another. It’s useful for budgeting, travel planning, and accounting calculations.
NBU rates are published according to the bank’s schedule. The calculator also shows the rate date so you know which day the conversion is based on.
What can you calculate?
- UAH ↔ USD/EUR/PLN conversions and many other currencies
- Convert an amount between any available currencies
- Quick copy of the final result
FAQ
Where does the exchange rate come from?
The rate is loaded from the official NBU API (statistical service) which provides a list of currencies and their rates to UAH.
Why can the rate date be “tomorrow”?
NBU publishes rates on a schedule: before ~15:30 it may be the current business day rate, after ~15:30 it’s often the next business day rate.
What if NBU is temporarily unavailable?
The calculator may use the latest saved rates from your browser (localStorage), if available.
